African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI) -- OAPI is an international organization, based in Yaoundé, Cameroon, that administers international treaties dealing with different aspects of intellectual property protection.

Association for University Technology Managers (AUTM) -- AUTM is a non-profit association with membership of technology managers and business executives who manage intellectual property. AUTM's members represent over 300 universities, research institutions, teaching hospitals and a similar number of companies and government organizations.

European Federation of Intellectual Property (EFIPWEB) -- EFIPWEB is a non-profit organization that represents over 100 non-governmental and other not-for-profit organisations interested in protection the intellectual property of all europeans.

European Patent Office (EPO) -- The EPO's task is to grant European patents using a unitary and centralized procedure. IP Society -- The Intellectual Property Society ("IP Society") produces events and forums that address the interests and concerns of investors, entrepreneurs, technologists, artists, writers, and other professional and creative workers. Their mission is to provide an outreach from the intellectual property professions to business, technology and creative communities, as well as the general public.

Licensing Executives Society -- The Licensing Executives Society is an international non-profit professional society whose members are actively involved in business activities concerned with the transfer of technology and industrial or intellectual property rights.

Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) -- The OECD explores the role of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) in stimulating the diffusion of knowledge and fostering innovation. It studies the economic impact of IP regimes in high-tech industries and in public research; assesses policies and institutional practices for IP management and exploitation; and develops indicators to assess the effectiveness of technology transfer.

National Technology Transfer Center -- The National Technology Transfer Center specializes in presenting effective ways to help U.S. corporations and citizens access and use U.S. federally-financed technologies. Access technical assistance, technology databases and related resources.

Tech Based Economic Development Resource Center -- A cooperative project between the U.S. Dept. of Commerce and the State Science & Technology Institute has established the Tech-based Economic Development Resource Center. World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) -- The WIPO is an intergovernmental organization headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. One of the 16 specialized agencies of the UN, WIPO is responsible for promoting the protection of intellectual property throughout the world and for administering various multilateral treaties dealing with the legal and administrative aspects of intellectual property.
