Interview with Bruce Montgomery, Former Chairman, WBBA

Join WBBA The WBBA is a not-for-profit association of Washington state biotechnology and biomedical companies, research firms and related organizations. The biotechnology organizations use living organisms and biological research to develop medical, environmental and agricultural products. Biomedical firms develop and manufacture diagnostic and electronic devices or components for use by medical researchers and health care providers.

WBBA member companies are developing revolutionary methods for diagnosis and treatment of cancer, AIDS, multiple sclerosis, cystic fibrosis, and other serious conditions. In agriculture, our member companies are developing improved foods and processes that enhance product yield, nutrition, taste, and shelf life. Environmental technology is helping to create a cleaner and safer world.

Our member companies are developing some of the world’s most sophisticated health care tools. Doctors treating heart patients, pregnant women, cancer patients, and a host of other conditions can provide more timely and accurate diagnoses and offer more effective treatments. These companies save lives – and reduce health care costs – through the development of science and technology. WBBA member organizations are dedicated to improving health are for mankind through innovative and cost-effective use of science.
