Advertising & Sponsorships
If your company would like to extend additional support to the Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association while raising your visibility among other members of the Association, there are many sponsorship and advertising opportuntities available in our publications and during the course of our years events.
WBBA NewsFacts Advertising
The WBBA NewsFacts is distributed via email to approximately 1,800 individuals at WBBA member companies twice a month. A limited number of classified ads are sold in each WBBA NewsFacts, typically for "help wanted," "space for rent" or other commercial messages. Members may purchase classified advertising at a discount and are given first preference when space is limited. Full-page attachment ads are also accepted on a limited basis.
Classifed ads cost $50 for 100 words maximum per run for WBBA member companies and $75 per run for non-member companies. There is a 10 percent discount on subsequent ads for running an ad without changes in two consecutive issues of the NewsFacts. Ads should be received as a Microsoft Word compatible diskette or as an email attachment that can be opened in Microsoft Word. Please call Pam Love at 206.732.6705 for information on deadlines and before scheduling or preparing an ad for the NewsFacts.
Event Sponsorship Opportunities
At various times during the year, member companies are given the opportunity to sponsor WBBA events. Examples of sponsored events include the Summer Social, the Annual Meeting or the winter/spring educational Distinguished Speaker Series organized by the Business Development Committee. Event sponsors typically receive recognition at the event including a display table and signage at the event in addition to announcements in the WBBA NewsFacts.
